Originally from Los Angeles, Matthew has also spent time living in Ashville North Carolina, St Louis Missouri, and Victoria, British Columbia.

Matthew first came to Bend as a CCT client, drawn here by the ample outdoor activities. After graduating from CCT, Matthew spent time working as a Direct Support Professional, assisting clients with independent living skills and self-advocacy. Matthew then decided to go back to school, getting an associate degree from COCC in Bend. After that, Matthew moved to Eugene to continue his education, earning a bachelor's in Anthropology with a minor in sports business from the University of Oregon in Eugene.  Matthew moved back to Bend to work at CCT.

Matthew loves sports, both playing and watching. He played hockey throughout his childhood before moving to Canada to play in high school. While at the University of Oregon, Matthew played for the Rugby team and helped reestablish the rugby program after COVID temporarily shut down the sport. While not at work, Matthew spends his time cooking, watching sports, or hiking with his dog.
