Casey O'Donnell MA HR

Casey graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina with a MA in Professional School Counseling. While completing her degree she worked with college-level Student Athletes as a Graduate Assistant, alongside various Academic Advisors. She mentored them both educationally and emotionally, aided them in developing plans that allowed them to better succeed in class, as well as assisted them in adapting to the college environment. Casey has experience working at an alternative high school, where she practiced her counseling skills and helped students work towards school completion. When first moving to Bend in January of 2018 she worked at a level four group home as a Residential Counselor providing therapeutic services for teenage girls who have suffered from both trauma and dependency. Casey has a passion for helping others and strives to support students in reaching their fullest potential.

 

Outside of work, Casey enjoys exploring the various amenities the Pacific North West has to offer. Being from Florida, she is partial to summer activities; including: golf, paddle boarding, hiking, trail running, and kayaking. Casey also loves spending time with her Fiancé and their fur baby Wally.
