Rebecca was born and raised in Washington state and earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Whitworth University in 2014. Shortly after graduating she moved to southwest Utah to start her career as a field guide for a Wilderness Therapy program. Working as a field staff for 2 years, she discovered how her passions for the outdoors and movement intersected with her desire to support young adults in their personal growth, healing and accomplishing their goals.

Rebecca moved to Bend in 2017, and since then she has accumulated over 5 years of Case Management experience, including her time as CCT’s Awbrey House Case Manager, and Summit Phase Case Manager since the start of 2022. She is a certified yoga instructor and looks for opportunities to get students involved in local yoga studios, and ways to incorporate mindfulness and movement into her weekly meetings. She is also currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work and loves that she gets to bring what she is learning in her program to her current work every day.

Rebecca believes that people are always doing their best. She takes a Strengths-Based Approach and uses Motivational Interviewing to guide students towards the actions they want to take to build a life that they love. She is trained in Trauma Informed Care and seeks to incorporate an understanding of the impacts of trauma into the approaches taken to help a student move toward their future self.

When not busy with work or school, Rebecca loves to be outside and moving alongside her husband. Her passions include trail running, biking, back country skiing, and yoga.
