Tracey has a wide range of experiences working with families.  She has worked in a variety of settings including the school system, outpatient treatment, in the home, and residential treatment.  Her ability to work with a variety of professionals in coordinated care makes her work with families valuable, thorough and holistic.  Tracey has a passion for working with families and sees an integrative approach as the only way to truly impact complete and long-lasting change.  She has experience across the age span, working with infant to young adult clients.  Regardless of age, all of her work has included the whole family rather than just an isolated client.

 

Tracey’s specialties, aside from working with families, include neuroscience, attachment theory and trauma.  Her approach with families draws from a variety of interventions and therapeutic approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment Theory, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Theory, and Bruce Perry’s Neuro-sequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT).  Tracey has extensive training in brain science and was honored to receive a year-long grant to learn from and work with Bruce Perry, a leading Psychiatrist who specializes in the brain and the impact of trauma on the brain and overall development.  Tracey’s wide range of experiences make her a great fit for a variety of challenges.  Tracey enjoys treating clients and families with complex presentations and has enjoyed a great deal of success with those clients and their families.
