Win grew up spending his summers outdoors in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. There, he worked at a scout camp for seven summers, starting as a counselor-in-training and ending as the camp’s High Adventure Program Director. Through that experience, Win gained a deep respect for nature and learned the values of experiential learning, leadership, and self-reliance. He has also worked in broadcast news as both an A/V Technician and Photojournalist.

As an alumnus of the CCT program, Win saw firsthand how life-changing and influential both Wilderness Therapy and Transitional Living could be for young adults - so much so that he returned to Bend so that he may help future generations of CCT students find their way, using his own experiences to better relate with and guide them.

In his free time, Win is both a photographer and videographer, and spends most of his days exploring everything that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
