Dr. Randi Hennigan received her Bachelors in Psychology from Baylor University and her Masters and PhD in Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. She is also EMDR trained and is teaching at OSU.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Randi has spent the past 15 years working with young adults, adolescents and families in a variety of settings, including outpatient community mental health centers, schools, and private practice. Randi is also an adjunct professor of graduate counseling and research courses and is currently a member of a research team studying the process of emotional cutoffs and reconciliation in adult children, parents, and siblings.

Randi greatly enjoys working with families and admires the many unique qualities young adults bring to the family system as they transition into independence. In particular, Randi appreciates the therapeutic process of empowering youth and their families to identify their strengths, create successful means of reaching their goals, and identify ways to restore and maintain positive communication and relationships.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Randi enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, and bird watching as well as drawing & painting, relaxing with a good book or cup of coffee, and listening to her record collection. Newest addition to Randi’s family is Rusty, the best cattle dog out there.

Rusty is a proud member of our Canine Clinical Team.
